« on: 08 July 2010, 14:01 »
Hey guys

Been looking thru the dub 'scene' in the US and i've noticed how awesome it looks when they have the indicators on as DRLs all the time.

Is it possible to set this up on my car?

because i WANTTT ITTTTT   :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

Thanks alot

It can be activated through vagcom, but I don't know the codes. You can also set sidelights or dipped beams as DRLs.

Do you mean the actual indicators or do you mean installing sidelights next to the indicators?

They are the indicators. only set to 30 - 40% brightness. so safe when indicating etc..

it could potentially confuse UK drivers if you were to look quickly at the car with the indicators lit up, as everyone has "sense memory" and know roughly where the indicators are on most makes and models, and so by activating that, it would unnecessarily confuse the majority of road users.

Just looks like your hazards are stuck on. I think the rozzers would also take great joy in pulling you over. I would not want to draw that kind of attention, same with German style plates IMHO.

Let the fun begin........Red Gti, full colour coding, DSG, Xenons, Winter pack, Lux pack, Highline, Sat Nav, Sunroof, Leather, Milltek, ABT rear valance, Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics....pescaras :-)
