MK6 GTI what's it worth?

I own a mk6 gti which, sadly,  I might need to sell (i'm buying a new house). Can anyone tell me what the market is like at the moment? Is there still strong demand for these at them moment or has supply caught up with demand? Does anyone know of any dealers who might be buyers? Also, what would it be worth? It's 2009, Tornado red, 18" Monzas, upgraded stereo (RCD 510), 16k miles, I could even throw in snow tyres and wheels. :-)

Sorry if this isn't the correct place for this type of question, i'm not trying to sell it here, just get the info.

I'd say a private sale should be around the 22k -22.5k mark

Trade in you will probably be offered around 20k - 20.5k

FYI to the OP there are several websits you can go on that will give you a valuation (for a decent one you will need to pay, Google them as I dont know them off the top of my head, Parkers? Which Car?). Also check Auto Trader for similar cars with the same spec and see how much they are going for to give you a rough idea. You will also need to price it depending on how desperate you are to sell it. When I got my MK5 I had my MK4 aswell for a good few months after as I wasnt desperate to sell, got what I asked for it despite many people offering me less.

Erm not really. Has he asked everyone that is interested in a used GTI how much they are willing to pay?? Dont think so
