door wont open

hi got myself another mint 20vale turbo (i now have 3) this one is an 02 absolutly mint but the drivers side rear door wont open ive tried allsorts anyone any ideas  i posted this in the garage section and got a reply from a member but as helpfull as he was his remedy didnt work  help

have you got enough room to pull the door card off from the inside?? or even just a little to fit ur hand down?? then just pull the long wire to unlock the catch? we get a few at work do this the catch on the inside breaks only other thing to do is forse it open then buy a new long
