Yep, courtesy of VW Wolfsburg 1998. Not changed from standard pal. Radio reception is all good with it, the spoiler isn't...... An aerial is an aerial, however if you change your head unit for an aftermarket, it helps if you use an aerial amplifier separate to the head unit itself that runs off a 12v feed

well i dont know if the ariel i bought was just crap then but its like the standard one i have but shorter edition. Looks good but it obv aint good enough, i guess i'll just need to shop around and get one somewhere then.

Have you changed your stereo? If not then go to a local audio specialist as they will advise something half decent rather than a halfrauds anodised 'bee sting' aerial or a e92 'style' fin  :sick:  tps might do one as mine is genuine

nothing wrong with the cut out on the spoiler, at least it serves a purpose and stops the aerial rubbing on it :wink:

I have an Enfig short aerial on mine, no problems with reception

Any ideas what i should get then, i do like the normal aerial but the rubbing on spoiler wont do it any favours.
