boge turbo kit from GSF
« on: 06 July 2010, 17:30 »

Sorry. Apparently I have just bought the last one they had.  They had to have a root around at head office to get it shipped to Swansea. Still for £115 and that includes the VAT I'm a happy bunny. That's nearly £500 they've had from me in the last week.

Really? I'm not thay bothered as long as their better than the 11 year old spax sportline jobbies I'm running now as the ride is crap and one rear shock is leaking oil. Just after a to b ride comfort.

The mk2 kit had a terrible ride, it was ROCK solid.
On the mk3 kit,the springs were free to move even when the struts were assembled. This was because the dampers were not shortened. I tried 3 kits, then got my money back.
I went to C&R and bought a weitec kit on the mk3, and it was spot on.
This was some years ago though...

I have had mine fitted with Eibach springs and are great, not too harsh at all...

No issues YET & came highly recommended by many on here...

But Thanks for the head up!!

Its not the dampers that were the problem on the boge kits, it was the springs.
Eibachs are great.
