My MOT advisory states broken exhaust bracket, now when i listen there is a slight rattle over bumps   :sad:

Its not the rear one anyone know where this bracket\clamp is and even better the part number  :grin:

could be the metal bracket has snapped in which case it needs welding back on
or its the rubber mount which can be replaced
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

I agree as this has happend on mine too.

Mods: R-Tech custom remap, Beachbuggy K250 Turbo, Forge 007 DV, RAMAIR Jetstream 108 induction filter, silicone piping throughout, R-Tech Supersize TIP, 42 Draft Stealth Catch Can, N249 bypass, Ported Manifold, Toyo Sports FMIC with 2 & 1/2 pipes, Custom made full turbo back exhaust & 2 & 1/2 " downpipe and 200 cell sports cat. BAM injectors, Turbosmart Boost Gauge, BBS CK Wheels, 312mm Brembo front discs and pads, Carbon canister delete and last of all, a liquid cube!

I called in at ATS to get them to look at my exhaust, he puts it up on the lift sorry I dont the names of the parts but coming back form the engine there was a bulge in the exhaust  :embarassed: then there was a plate with the bracket underneath it which like someone said "crap design"

This had the exhaust goint through the middle doing the impression of a swing  :cry:

Not sure if I had mug written on my forehead today but he said I'd need a new rear section then he couldnt find one in his book for a AUM engine and tried selling me some other one £230  I think he was having a :laugh: :laugh:

Next stop find someone who can do a bit of welding ....

Indeed, mines been broken since I got the car, not been an issue.  Passed every MOT thus far.

Mines also bust, get a lovely rattle from it every time i pull away  :smiley:
