Hello has anyone looked at the performance vw mag website classifieds section. I have just looked and there are some nice mk1s for sale even a ?50 one. There is also that brown one that has been doing all the shows this year its got a 16v on carbs very nice

There is even a mk1 scirocco on there for ?300 ive only seen 2 of those before.

There's not many of them around now.........they were rust buckets! Saw a mint one on the M3 a while back..........lot of TLC must have gone into that.

Me and my mates bought a MK1 Scirocco GTI once for ?15 in a pub, even had 6 months tax on it. We used it as a pool car until the bonnet flipped up on it when I was driving it. Took it straight to the scrappy after that!

I used to have a MK1 scirocco storm, it was excellent,went like a go cart and had the full cream leather interior, even got it featured in practical classics magazine. But it was old, used to fill up with water and was needing too much money spending on it so had to let it go. If I had a garage it would be in there now.
