Cheap, if it keeps your warranty intact.
My dealer seems happy with anything 'VW Racing'.
Even cheaper if you just replace it with the OEM one when it goes to see the dealer :evil:

Can I change it myself quickly and doe it effect exhaust sound...what is the gain-factor...if you have stage I say 1-3 BHP ???

BTW
Stage I only says what sort of modification you have done....since I find the results (APR-JD-ABT-REVO) wildly varying or is this simply the way of measuring and they are all the same (parameter settings) in the end ???????????

If your car isn't remapped then there is zero performance benefit from having a freer flowing filter.

It will make very little difference to the sound but will add more than a few bhp from the dyno testing I saw on mine with the both the full ITG kit and the ITG panel.

Steve...I have a REMAP ABT stage I at the moment with a 260-270 BHP promise...
I really do not care for an actual Dyno result since it "feels" incredibly fast.  :cool:
But if such a cheap filter is delivering more BHP-power I'll be the first in line.  :evil:

Maybe I can get it somewhere in a German carshop next week.... :cool:

Phoned JD Engineering (pro Remap co.) and they say it will deliver in Stage I around 2 BHP that is if you ONLY get the drop-in panel filter from ITG...measured on the dyno's  :wink:
Not noticable they say......it gets noticable from Stage II
