19 inch. 225/35 19 tyres do not rub at all.

alloy on the wheels is very soft. dropped my socket when changing it from my breaker bar to my torque wrench and it bounced off my knee and onto one of the spokes. chipped the paint and dented the alloy!

grebow, Thanks for the pic and the wheels really nice on you car.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for these and where did you get them from?

Thanks maw73

got them from niche conversions and paid £1,099 for the set.

Not very good customer service from niche though im afraid.

I originally ordered them and paid in full and was told that they would be here the next friday. Got no call on the friday so rang on the next monday, was told that they had missed the shipment and would be on this weeks shipment which would come on friday. Again, no call on friday, rang again monday and was told that they would be here wednesday!! they said they were sorry and they would pick them up and deliver them in person as soon as they landed, i said that if i didnt have them on thursday to cancel my order and refund me my money. No call wed or thurs. Friday mornig they turned up on a courier!!!!  Dealing with them was a terrible experience, no contact or customer help at all, i would definitely not deal with them again. Sometimes it makes me wonder how these people stay in business!!

Ummm thanks for the heads up with regard to Niche's delivery / poor customer service. Makes you think twice. I would also make sure I'll pay by credit card for better protection. They've got a good looking website though...

I've been quoted on the 19" BBS ones today at £1469.00 wheels only and £2167.00 with 235/35R19 Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres fitted.

Not cheap... could buy a mk4 for that

The black wheels don't come up well in the photos sadly.

I tried to save money by buying replicas but it was a complete waste of time. I spent the extra money on buying genuine wheels and it is well worth the money. They are 8 inch wide, ET52 so I can put spacers on if I want although I probably won't. I am on country roads a lot of the time too which have plenty of depressions on them so I don't want the wheels sticking out too much and buckling an arch.

The car is lowered on Eibach springs too.

I think there is some confoosion in this thread. VMR wheels are not 'reps' in the sense that they are not cheap imports. They may have designs that look a touch BBS but they are 'proper' wheels. However, VMR wheel designs themselves are often available as 'reps' hence you can get for example a set of "BERN 710" for 450 quid, which look mighty similar to VMR 710's! Clear>mud?

I have sportlines just. They were supposed to lower the car 25mm at the front and 20mm at the back (I think). They actually lowered the front 25mm and the back 35mm but it sits great now - the same arch gap front and back.

I am told that the lips can be removed easily enough but I haven't tried yet. Replacements can be bought if they are caught on a kerb on if you want to colour code them.

Those silver edges look really fabulous and stylish. Keep them as they are a welcome relief from too much black.
The wheels, as they are, are tops.
I also really like the front and rear mud flaps. Never thought I'd change my mind regarding this. I might go for these on my car too.
Overall effect: Fanatastic. Don't change a thing, except those rear lights to 'R' LEDs.
