The main reason why i like the Bluefiun, is that i keep my stock Engine map on my handset, and not a mock version that Revo offer as a Valet alternative.

R-Tech have got excelent customer reviews, but altermatly look foward to seeing a mk5 in any guise along with other tuners on the same rollers for best comparision, and whether the savings are worth it.
Another one that i rate quite highly is Shark perormance.

steve revo has a stock map too! the valet mode restricts the revs i think it goes up to 2k so if your leaving it with someone you dont want to rag the car. wait until you get revo like all the other superchips eddies, you will see!!

i cant be arse with this debate im going for a beer!

As Steve said though the revo stock map isn't a genuine oem map like on the bluefin ! I'm running very good good power with giac at the moment with there updated torque maps, there stage 1 was not  the most comfortable to drive as it felt a bit on off but the stage 2 + map and hardware is very smooth. My in gear times ect seem to be rivaling some tuned k04 cars !

No playing the my map is best game here or owt, Imo I don't think there is much of a differance between them.

Couldn't agree more, I dont think its ALL about peak power, its about a smooth power curve aswell.

Carried out many many maps on the 2.0tfsi engines and every customer 100% with the whole package, peak power output, mid range power band, throttle response, smooth linear and strong. Our map is a VERY good all round map which keeps the masses happy all day long.

Every tuners maps differ, some give a nasty torque spike which looks like an xmas tree on the dyno graph, some have a nasty heat soak power tail off, some give nice WOT power and crap part trhottle control ect...  Our current working on the 2.0tfsi load maps are are spin off from our Gen4 me7.5 mapping which already is top on the leauge in the 1.8T tuining scene.

If you want smooth linear and strong mapping then come to us, or if your wanting a huge spike of torque which tails off rapid then find a tuner that tunes that way.

If your looking for another good all round map which can be switched on of off, and the timing, load, fuel adjustabilitys then go for the Revo remap with the SPS switch. We can do the Revo remap for £586.32, this includes rolling road, full diagnostics, rolling road map setup via our master Revo SPS, Having the Revo setup on our rolling road will get the car to how you want it, aggressive or smooth and linear..ect..

Nick

Went out in a Revo'd ED30 today whilst up at R-Tech and to sum it up - I'd be well pissed off if I'd paid full whack for it  :lipsrsealed:

Its nice and aggressive down low but the top end where you'd expect it to feel really strong just doesn't seem to happen and I felt very little difference between a standard ED30 and a Stage 1 Revo ED30.

Just my 2p

Price mainly - I've been in both and there's really nothing between them   The REVO feel aggressive down low but runs out of steam at the top end whereas the R-Tech one pulls that little harder
