Golf Gti 1.8t 150ps New Member/New to VW

Alright everyone, just thought I'd say hello!
Recently bought a 1999 Golf GTI 1.8t, 3Door 150ps,

gonna go for more power, I've already fitted a Cat back exhaust system this weekend, awaiting my pippercross viper induction kit (carbon fibre one).
I'm pretty hands on so I'll be doing everything myself, apart from the remap lol.

My first car was a 1.1ltr mk3 fiesta which I put a 1.6ltr Si engine in, si bumpers, lowered, escort gti wheels, escort rs turbo brakes, cat back exhaust blablabla etc etc
Then I got my self a 54plate civic type R and left that standard apart from fitting full leather interior (genuine Honda) then I had to sell that to buy a van as I went self employed last year.
Now I saved up enough dosh for the golf, I'll keep you all updated n any tips will be greatly appreciated ;)
cheers, Craig.

Needs a clean in some of these pics ;) :
