Am i would need to take a good look at the a\c controls to see if i can strip them down without trouble but shouln't be a problem.
By the way i can do gloss black aswell but with a laquer over the top so they don't scratch like the standard paint??

Cheers
Darren

Hmmm ... decisions, decisions.
I have a brilliant scratch remover which I got from the watch dept in Harrods. Hence my trip there on Sunday!
I'll go there again this weekend and get you one. It's brilliant. Too brilliant as you know from my PM to you. But it was the jumping cat's fault, really.

Not permenantly installed ones in the headrests but ones VW are selling in their 'Technology Accessories' catalogue for £286. These are suitable for customer fitting. I will also look into the more permanent ones soon before I finally decide.

Ah right. Thought you were getting the actual headrests with the screen inbuilt.
£286 for strap on ones seems ridiculous as I'd imagine these can be had for a lot lot less.

It's a Nextbase DVD player, 2 screens, 2 sets of headphones, remote control, 12V socket and mains adapter, carry bag, 2 stanchion mounts to secure to the headrests, click and go technology for easy removal, shock absorbent and meets European crash safety standards.

Right. Thought the way you were talking it would have plugged into the back of the RNS510 and played that way.
That way you only need the 2 screens.
My RNS510 has the video in motion built in so 2 screens in the rear would be ideal.

I love the ED30 shift knob. Have it on my GTI as well, solid piece.
