Apologies to all if I got a bit carried away in my excitement and for any rudeness. I had such a problem getting the knob fitted, so when it was done, I was over the moon. You can understand that even those minor criticisms were not what I was expecting. So I let fly! Such passion! It is quite superb to the touch and to the eye.
But is it WORTH £180? No. :lipsrsealed:
Or,
But is it WORTH £180? Yes, because I paid up!   +

That's fine fella. None of us here should detract you from doing what you want to your car. It is after all your car and you can do what you want with it.

Man C paid up.
Man D supports him!
Man Z will buy one too!

Thank you.
Had a prob this morning. As I was listening to the radio, it suddenly muted and, being a novice, did not know how to switch the audio back on.
I switched off, re-started the car after 10 mibnutes, it was back to normal.
I still feel the RCD310 has far better sound quality on FM.

RNS display colour can be changed with VCDS (Highline, Sportline etc), muting options are part of the RNSs options (settings, I think...muting volume, amount of muting, on/off etc).

Yup, you're right. Now all sorted! Thanks.

am1w, are you using the 'hack' so that you can watch dvd's when your driving... not that you would of course, but so that maybe a passenger can ?

Yes, but only when you send me some porn.
Other times for the kids as I am also getting some screens on the front headrests for them.
BTW, you owe me 50 quid.
