No faults. RCD510 upgrade (the 310 looked awful) and bluefin.
Love it.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

I'm pefectly cool with the 310, too!  One minor niggle to do with the shift of the left rear-view mirror in reverse which only happens when using one of the two keys (spooky!), plus the repair necessitated by the mallard-murdering episode.

Still in love and starting to really appreciate the cars all round abilities.

Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement

Glad to hear it guys, after much dilemma over a GTI or GTD I finally took the plunge to upgrade my mark 5 to the mark 6 hopefully before the end of the year to beat the VAT increase.

It ended up being the heart strings rather than the head that swayed it. Both great cars and it really is the best diesel engine I have drove, but to me the GTI just has that special image and its a purely personal thing with doing 10 K a year.
