1.8 t lose of power

hi
i have a 1.8 20v turbo engine code aum which was remapped by r tec in feb 09 and running like a dream totally transformed the car

but now when is up to tempreture or hot it is lacking power it sound like there is little if not no turbo power/activity
i have changed the maf also i tried a cold air induction kit but it is still the same
i was wondering if some one could help as i am worried what if any damage i might be doing if i keep driving it like this


please please help

Have you hooked it up to vag com to see if any fault codes are flagged up? this is the first step for a better diagnosis once scanned if any codes are stored look these up on the ross tech wiki (fault codes) you should find most of them on there and they will show you were to start looking etc

was you that lad with the black golf who already had a remap but wanted the r-tech one?, i was down that day feb 9th i was in the silver agu, at least you had your power up to now, mine lasted 2 week on full boost :sad: :cry:, since then ive bin trying get to bottom of a boost fault.

Pop your car up to us and I will give it a good going over and check all the hardware out for you and do a diagnostics/logging session. With the AUM its going to be PCV or fuel related, the ecu will compenstate for differing temps and make the same load no matter what the atmospheric conditions are.

you need to be looking at the maf and intake side of things like I said before, When another maf was fitted in the past all the power came back so thats the area you need to be looging at, get your car upto  us and I will also take a look point you in the right direction.
