hi there...... i'm james! so that makes 2 of us!

you should get it lowered. springs and dampers........ ive got the g max 35mm
on mine and its really good.... takes roundabouts at 60mph! that should take car of the handeling cheaply unless your looking for coilovers!

you should also be looking into getting the engine modded..... if your into track days and competitions etc....

you should know alot about this stuff as your mr2 is modded! so happy dubbing!

throw out everything from inside the car apart from 1 seat and the steering wheel
bin the spare wheel
uprate the brakes to G60's (or brembo if you're feeling flush)
swap the glass for perspex
install roll cage

i agree with dizzie just shed as much weight as possible, then start stiffenning the thing up then get a decent air filter, then exhaust, then cam, then head work then ......... it depends how much of a budget your on as to how far you want to go.

if its a digifant, open up the air box and pull out the trumpet thing for starters, if it hasn't already been binned and then get a k&n and drill some big ass holes in the wing side of the air box. thats all cheap/free things to start with.
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

if you are going to do hillclimbs then dont be to hasty in chucking that interior as you may well end up outclassed. get a copy of the msa blue book and any championship regs you can.
