I can't see the numbers on ether must be at a funny angle. going to have to jack it up tomorrow as my under try is droped down about 20mm clearance from the floor  so going to have to sort that so ill have a poke round if you like ?

to tell you the truth i totally for got. . . . getting old now lol i remember i did have a look the the springs were at such a angle i couldn't see them on ether side and i meant i have a proper look, but then i ve had problems wit the car and totally forgot. just noted it down on with the other things i need to do tomorrow so ill try to have a look before i clean my car.

Thanks alot Euan.  When you say it has the same number do you mean the 720005 on the springs or the VW01 on the adjuster or both? Do you have any pictures of yours? Or where did you buy them?
