Oil level good?

yep, i am a bit OCD about fluids in my car lol plus my oil dip stick keeps coming out because of my engine covers shakes it out so i keep my eye on it lol

i have this with mine aswell but mine will cut out when stationary for so long and loose power and judder sometimes whilse driving. im not too bothered though as im changing the engine soon anyway but anybody have any ideas ? Sorry about hijacking the thread but the cause could be the same, do you have any of the other symptoms mine has ?

engines a tiny bit juddery but never cut out.

ok i moved my car this morning to front of the house to clean it because its a nice sunny day when i was moveing it back when i started engine . . a bit of white smoke so i rev'd the car i little bit more but then kept revving it and  . . .no smoke.

That could mean either the engine is breathing very heavy and oil is getting into the system or the turbo seals are on there way.

I know sometimes on old cars like my RS Turbo, that suggested valve stem oil seals were leting oil into the system and when you stop the car and leave it over night the oil would sit around the valves & in the chambers and once started it burns the oil off and once the valve stem seals expand with heat it stopped smoking.

thats what I fear with mine :sad:
