I'm getting one of these on mine in the summer when I've recovered from the recent bill on the Mk2.

However, I can't decide whether to go for res or non res. I don't want it to be quieter than the OEM one but then again I don't want it to sound like the lad next door's 1.0 Corsa with a drainpipe on the back i.e. ultra loud and stupid. A bit more grunt than standard is fine.

From odds and sods I've read on here before I'm erring towards a non res but what do you all reckon you lot who have one?

I have just been driving mkviken gti with milltex fitted and was very suprised how quiet it is.
I too want a similar to you his to me is ideal. Little louder than standard but only when needed.
 That drive is going to be costly to my pocket!

by the way the brake assist is very slightly sharper with slightly less effort required but there isn't much difference between standard and 2 though to be honest.

No problem mate, that is the plan for this year.
 I also need a pro detail by Miglior or getpolished as your OCD on your car makes me embarassed by mine.

I  eed to tone it down to be honest. The cleaning is getting a bit over the top now.

After my operation I will have a cast on for 8 weeks or so and won't be able to clean it! Don't know how I will cope!

For a daily car I found my full race system a little too much at motorway speeds, but think the res version would probably just right for the majority of people.

However I know Milltek are working on electronically controlled valves at present which can be RPM or manually switched so that might be a nice option going forward
