grrr wont start

ok more issues with the golf with starting well i thought it was down to the maf so i went and got a new one nothing all boost pipes are now connected but she just wont start???

any ideas

also does an engine management light come on? with first turn of key not something i have ever noticed before but someone mentioned it to me an now im questioning myself  :undecided:

think engine management light comes on when you turn on ignition and then goes off.

check the connections on the ignition amplifier, its normally sat just near the MAF.

Check the oil for any creamy sludge, make sure water isnt dirty in your header tank.

you need to check if your getting a spark on the plugs

had a problem with mine not starting late last year it was down to the temp sensor.  :smiley:

well its started but now is running like a bag of sh!t again :(

prob coolant temp sensor at fault ! can you scan it and read live data on temp sens degrees ? try disconnecting it and see how it runs then or if it starts any better as if its at fault the ecu could be reading from -40 to 100+ . normaly if its running like crap and throwing black/rich exhaust fumes thats prob ya fault but you need to scan !
