Corrado front seats into mk2
« on: 21 December 2004, 19:18 »
Can you fit corrado front seats into a mk 2 and how much work is involved as my brother got the original front seats when he got his corrado (as it has Merc Recaro's in) but they have no subframes.

I sat in 'slammed mk2's' mk2 with the corrado front seats. They made you sit really low.

I would probably swap the frames over from your existing seats to raise them a bit?

its still very low but after 2 weeks of driving at that high it actually feels more comfortable took some getting used to at first tho as the wheel seems too high but everything else is perfect .

You reckon they're only a bit lower!? My girlfriend can now hardly see over the dash

You want the rear seat to match that one by any chance??

I was thinking of doing the rear seats, but there looks like a huge gap down the sides now. that's what put me off.
