Its only worth what someone will pay for it.
I guarantee there will be folk on eBay paying in excess of £400 (they certainly were last month when I checked) who are not even considering a RNS510. I know they can be had for not much more but some folk aren't interested in the NAV or DVD and just want a bigger touch screen display that just plugs in and works.

I never said I thought it was, I was just stating what more customers are coming in and asking for fact. £250-£300 is what I would pay max, but try you luck on ebay let us know what it fetches as if it goes for alot more I might consider selling mine and getting a rns510.

Amanda I would stick it on ebay with a reserve of £280?  they fetch any thing from £300 to as much has £475 but as per as been said when people see the RNS510 for the same money they would be  not to buy the RNS.

Personally I would try and sell it here or on any other forum your a member of. I would be reluctant to give ebay 10% of your money for selling something, especially something like £30+

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

You have got to price it not to close to a rns510

I bought mine for £250 off steve on here with rear view camera input, would not pay anything near £350 for one as for a £150 more or so I could get a rns510.

My RNS510 is costing £600 fitted from Mortygt140 it's the latest version with LED backlit screen.
Surely my RCD510 is worth more than £250.

Of course it is, dont listen to evo, he's the 'salesman' who thinks the GTD is more desirable than a GTI, so are you really going to listen to a word he says ?

Good point Kev, thanks. evo's been kissing the blarney stone
