The Law states that this had to be done.
I hereby comply, but apologise for the quality of the pictures. :smiley:

Hi Sunday:

Getting there slowly like British Rail.
Sh!t, I've aged myself! :laugh:

The Ed30 knob is attached Saturday next week courtesy of Master Tech at VW. If they damage any trim, they said they would replace it. :rolleyes: It seems as the gear knob is a 'back order' item, I cannot return it, full stop. What nonsense. :shocked:

Also, they will look at the clunking armrest :angry:, and a very teeny weeny rattle around the speedo/rev dials. I don't think much will be possible with this.

Two ideas,
The plastic trim strip can rattle and also the clips on the fuse box panel can rattle against the inner parts of the dash. Try removing the fuse box cover. ( C shaped bit on end of the dash when you open the door) see if that stops it.

I identified the exact spot. It's the trim just below the dials which is not sitting properly. I'll get them to sort it. Have a bad neck and shoulder, though now better, still makes doing things a bit difficult.

As you also know, in my excitement after having the LEDs fitted, I smoked in the car and burnt the carpet down to the metal :sick: Fixed it with a sprayed scouring pad which I stuck into the hole. Totally invisible now. Pat on the back for the brilliant fix :smiley: but slap on the wrists for smoking!

++++++++infinity!
The change to the rear profile is quite significant. Makes the car look wider and more upmarket. The darker LEDs are a must especially on a red car.
What really upsets me is that I cannot see them all the time. :sad:
They really and truly are beautiful and I never thought I would say that about rear lights! :cool:
