Hi, i just joined and want to say hello to everyone,
ive just got my first golf (not the greatest) but it is to me ive wanted a golf for like years it seems. Its a 1997 Golf GTI 8v mk3(i think) must be one of the last as it has had a few bits thrown on like A/C etc.
ive just got one problem with it, if someone can give me some advice. The red temp light has suddenly come on since this morning and keeps flashing ive did about 25-30miles today and it never stopped flashing but it never overheated, has anyone got any ideas what it could be and what i should look for to try and get it sorted. Its just put a downer on the joy i had of finally gettin a golf. but like i said i will be so thankfull for any advice anyone can give me. thankyou very much and i look forward to being an active member of this group.( i cant believe ive finally got a golf) yipeeeeeee.........
