Bits needed
« on: 11 June 2010, 21:47 »
i currently have the bog standard cd player, wondering if there is something to do for an mp3 player ? dont like using the FM type thing due to sound quality. is there a cable i can fit ? is the aux on the unit ?

also after a stubby aerial, original if possible.

does anyone know how easy it is to fit an arm rest ? would like to have one but not sure how easy it is to fit one. original obviously

also as i only have a 1.6 FSI at the moment is there anything i can do to the engine to get a bit more out of it. is it worth get induction kit or anything like that.

any one point me in the right direction ?

cheers

I gather you have the standard radio?  If you look at the later ones they have silver buttons and an mp3 logo above the cd slot (not all silver button ones are mp3 players tho)

if you want a OEM headunit that can play mp3's then yes, otherwise you can get an aux installed
