Mine is as below. Setup then media brings the below screen up:

As it says, isn't that just for the AUX input? [Jack plug in front of centre armrest] Don't think that will affect input volume from other sources.

The volume you will get for any given setting on the RCD unit depends upon the input level from the source, I can get much more volume from my SD card as the music is recorded at a higher level. My iPod has a low input level so it's not as loud as other sources at the same volume setting; but still easily adequate unless you want to damage your hearing. [I think turning up the volume on the iPod itself would increase the level for any given setting on the RCD]
2012 R. Rising Blue 3 door DSG with 19" Talladega's, RNS510, Dynaudio, Cruise, DCC, Rear Cam, Colour MFD, Lux pack, Storage pack, Service plan.

On mine it does not give you the option of low, medium or high, just three different voltage settings :undecided: don`t know why its different ?

Not old just know how to test setups, and speakers properly and know how badly most modern music is recordered. I use to work in test for a highend home audio company

Recorded badly, ripped to MP3 on a low bitrate making a poor source even poorer...then played loud in a car with it's poor acoustics, medeorce amplification and poorly damped speaker enclosures.

I went through the whole ICE phase many years ago and gave up after it's obvious you'll never get a car to sound as good as a decent home hi-fi.
If it plays loud enough to drown out the road noise...it'll do.
After that, I'll save proper listening for home.

Hell, I can't bear to listen to low bitrate MP3s on my home hi-fi as it sounds tragic.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.
