I signed up to a site called topcashback a year or so back now. It works by returning commission on internet shopping sales back to your account that you can then take out as cash.
I have so far 'earned' £384 back in real cash to my bank account and have another £121 waiting to collect.
You basically need to go to the site before you buy anything on the internet to see if the site you were going to use is listed via topcashback. Hotels.com for example has been providing 10% back on sales for ages now. I have also got £53 back on my last home insurance, £47.50 on my last phone contract, 20 quid at Pixmania, 40 quid at Comet, 40 quid at British Gas - it all adds up. Each sale can take about 3 months before you can get the money back but it's all traceable. I am usually as cynical as can be with this sort of thing but there really is no catch at all.
Now they have even started a recommend a friend scheme, so if you sign up with this link:
http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/golfgti we each get a bonus £2.50 added to our account. Free money, what's not to like?
