have to do a fashion shoot which is 'rags to riches' for college and need to find a gritty style run down location in which to shoot a posh lass in a frock

any ideas for locations in the reading and local area welcome?

Portman Road Industrial estate would be cool, some railway arches near there aswell.

Craddock road/Boulton Road up by makro?

Hehe, that looks like a real harsh forum.

Can't say I know of any abandoned warehouses, there must be some up at Portman Road i'd have thought.

Happy hunting

oh yeah they can be harsh, the problem is most of the locations are generally private property and require you to trespass, now IIRC the police can't do anything regarding trespass if you haven't damaged anything (then it becomes criminal damage), so on that forum they get a lot of randoms asking, how do i gain access, well the access point is generally a damaged fence or broken window.

best best is to just search for your area on the forum and see what pops up

sounds like an interesting shoot, and gives you an insight into scouting locations, good luck!

which is kinda understandable...but they do take the hard line!

had a quick search and found this... which might do... http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=34904&highlight=berkshire

think as 'location manager' for our shoot it might be quite interesting... it isn't until later on this month so have plenty of time to find the right place
