That doesn't mean its the wheel bearing.

When you wobble the wheel, put your other hand on the balljoint(up,down) and track rod end(left to right) or get someone else to check that while you wobble.

Also check the driveshaft securing nut, found in centre of hub.

The hub on FWD cars doesnt usually give play as such unless its completely collapsed as the driveshafts hold them in. Usually you'll find its loud humming first, Way to check them - Spin the wheel off ground whilst holding the spring, Can you feel vibration on the spring?

Ill have to check that as soon as the weathers promoting as its PI$$ing it down here.
i have been hearing a slight humming/werring sound today  on the way back from my mates, just sounds like when my bearing went last time.

update

Went to the garage, bearings ok and couldnt see anything else except there was some shavings possibly from the hub nut but the nut was tight but it was only a flying visit he said would take a better look when i go up to clean out my inlet manifold £25 so not to bad getting someone else to do the donkey work lol.

So today thought i would get my front wheels balanced at ATS there only over the road so  , the guy said they were really bad, drives a lot better still i little judder but 95% beter.
