The LED RNS510 is a silly low price even at £750 considering VW charge £2750...!!

If your going to wait it out for a cheap one don't bother once the sellers with the cheap ones are gone they are going to go sky high in price. I know a guy selling the new rns's to Ri***rSport for over £1000.

I got mine from Lithuania , but its a brand new unit with no marks, and all the warranty stickers in place.
It was £699, but I did a best offer of £650 - which he accepted.

I just looked through his feedback, and hes now selling for £599 buy it now - or accepting £550 best offers.
Thats the price most people are selling old B versions for!!

 I think I have found the seller you refer to. I have submitted an offer and will await the outcome. I went for the latest LED version with 6.1 maps :embarassed:

I rather buy from someone who is 100% trustworthy such as Darren and who will be able to provide me with expert service and advice. He is a Forum member and he has offered a brilliant deal. I cannot be bothered saving £50 or £100 pounds which other sellers might be able to supply these units at.
I am very sure I will get a quality unit from a quality individual and that's what matters most.

I did ask Darren first, but at that time LED units were like hens teeth and he couldn't get me on - hence why I opted for the foreign option.

The seller was great - responded to emails instantly.  I ordered it on a Friday lunchtime, and it arrived on Tuesday morning - despite it being a Bank Holiday Monday.
Well packed, and like new.  The date on the unit was 29th March 2010, so it was only a month old at the time.

Am pleased for you. However, Darren will also help install it as I am not as adept as you.

I can't help wondering where these eBay sellers get all these units from. I asked one if he could provide an invoice for my accounts and he replied "no invoice can be provided" :lipsrsealed:

The guy I made an offer to this morning hasn't replied yet, so I don't know if that means he isn't entertaining my offer, or just that he hasn't picked up his email.

As for Darren, I'm sure he's a very reliable seller, but to me UK or Lithuania is more or less the same 'risk'.

Damn it, I saw your reply too late and have just ordered a unit from Lithuania. It was £550 + £25 S&H. No invoice. Could you have also knocked of UK VAT, as you would have sent it to me in France? I have a valid EU VAT number for my business.
