Michelin PS3's
« on: 07 June 2010, 16:10 »
Well just had to put the car in for an MOT and it failed on the rear tyres (original Bridgestones I think) so I decided to bite the bullet and get 4 PS3's. £117 a corner. OUCH, I hope it's worth it?

Just thought I would let you all know.
Mrk V, GTI, 3dr, DSG, heated seats, winter pack, cruise control, rear parking sensors and now thanks to GizzyWizzy and SteveP in the MK6 section a RCD 510. Awesome!

it is definitely worth it. i take it they are 17's as mine were 157 a corner, but the transformation is awesome, money well spent.

Well funny thing is I posted this thread before I picked up the tyres, and the price was what some guy on the phone told me.

Anyway when I turn up they only had 2 in stock, he rang Michelin and another supplier but neither had any. The guy felt bad so he gave them to me for £90 each minus the VAT. So £211.50 inc VAT for both (Damn VAT)

I’m gonna have a look on Cam Skill or Black Circles (any other suggestions would be cool) for 2 more and the guy will fit them for me for nothing.

I need to replace my PS2's soon. Can I assume that PS3's will be much the same only a bit better? Anyone gone from one to the other and have an opinion?

Yes. I went from PS2's to PS3's. They are better, especially so in the wet!
