GOLF MK4 GT TDI 150... VRS ENGINE?

hi wud up.. my gt tdi 150 golf the engine is f**ked.. so i found a skoda fabia which has been tunned by jabbasport and got 150 turbo and its been tuned up inside the turbo and so on.. im not to sure but its around 250bhp.. so i was wondering would the fabia engine fit my mk4?.. is it a straight fit or need other parts?.. and what about the 312mm brakes?.. straight fit or need other things to fit it on?..

Should be a straight fit. The engine code will either be BLT (Later VRs) or the ASZ (Early) the ASZ was fitted to the Golf 130s.

you sure bro?.. i rang up nick (r tech) and asked him he said somthing like you will need other bits it will be a pain to fit.. so im not sure

If he's only stuck a 150 turbo on then it won't be 250bhp; you need a bigger turbo again and larger injectors.  Best you can hope for, even with a hybrid 150 turbo, is 220bhp; add bigger injectors and you may knock on the door of 240bhp.  Anything above is just pub without further work

I'd get the 150 engine fixed or at least source another working 150 engine

There are sublte differences with the vac system between the engines plus a couple of other slight differences

na its got a turbo dynamics turbo on it the 150 but its been tuned up or somthing by jabbasport its got all the bits an bobs it was runnin around 250bhp befor he went into a hedge lol..

the engines seezed up.. im not sure how much it would cost?.. i hear that there are vw magazines where u send ur old engine they send u a tuned up one but im not sure if its true..
