forgot to mention, i used linseed oil for the first time on my plastics  added pics to see what you think.

it goes on very easily and looked  for a day before the rain attacked it! think i'll stick to the simoniz spray from now on.

the car should hopefully be getting fully deswirled by a pro in the next few weeks so watch this space

just need to get it lowered and a bufty exhaust and i'll be happy.

let me know what you think!!!

interesting on the linseed oil as everyone else i know swears by it... could you post your findings on it with before and after pics together with 'after rain' pics here pls http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=91049.msg1433965#new

wiper looks  and the paintwork is looking a lovely red... watch you don't get pulled for those plates though

perhaps i'm being over critical of the linseed oil, its certainly lost its gloss, i'll get some pics later today.
As for the wiper i nearly managed to fook the job up as my spray nozzle decided to snap off and i had to rescue it with super glue but it was a b1tch to line back up so it squirted in the right place

I've been ok with the plates so far (touch wood) drove past plenty of traffic cops etc and no problems so far.
