Ive got a mk3 without the rear spoiler and ive seen one on ebay like a gti look alike one. it says it comes so it can be drilled or glued. Is glueing really going to hold it on as i was told drilling is expensive and difficult as its got a double skin? thanks for the help

As long as you use proper epoxy/2 pack type glue you might get away with it. it may start to crack after a while though due to weathering, and road vibrations

Get a sharp enough drill bit and a tidy drill, and it'll go through

other alternative is to keep an eye out for an original spoiler in a scrappy or the free-ads etc.
