VR6 is much heavier in fact the abf is not much heavier than the standard mk 2 engine.
Hence it needs more downforce but once it has it's a close one.

what are you on about?

you know a mk2 produces the sum total of zero downforce at any speed dont you. Infact they almost certainly generate lift rather than downforce.

Im not really sure what this topic is about, is it a question or a statement? Who knows!

It's possible - remember new Golfs ain't cheap and thus do attract those of a more senior demographic - could have been Robin, just pootling along.

Luke ....Lowering your pingers to 140mm is impressive but unless we race a NASCA track then if you happen to hit a manky dead rotten rabbit in the road you wish you had not. And you said you wanted to take it lower!!

Luke it takes you 5 minutes to get over 1 speed bump as it is...
