Milltek Exhaust
« on: 15 December 2004, 11:36 »
Think my standard exhaust is coming to the end of it's life - I am thinking of getting Milltek exhaust from the CAT only. Any ideas of cost and increase in performance??? Mk4 GTi 1.8T 20V. Plus any suggestions as to fitters/suppliers in south - sussex area

http://www.auto-amd.com/mk4exhaust.asp would be your best bet, Milltek are pretty strict with their prices to suppliers so noone gets them cheap.
As for performance gains.. expect somewhere between none and f*ck all bhp increase  Unless of course you get them to remap it for you while you're there

I've had work carried out on my Corrado VR6 by AmD. I had the Cat back Milltek exhuast, along with a Remap, Induction kit, and larger throttle body. The result is a much more repsonsive car, with an awesome induction roar! Cost was around ?1300 though!.

supercharger is next on the shopping list!! Hopefully summer will come soon so the Cab will take up my interest a bit more. This Corrado could be a very expensive toy!!

You want expensive??!!

How about we swap bills then?? I'd gladly swallow a ?1300 bill in favour of the one thats facing me atm.
