When I had my 16v gti I was 18 and paid £1400 insurance, thought that was pretty good :)

Now im 19 and have an Audi a3 2.0 tdi (2004) and pay £1055 :undecided:

What the f**k!?

Personally would have brought a newer slower car! I can get insurance on a Supercharged S2000 for that much, and im under 21 so most places won't even quote for a normal S2000!

(Not that i've been looking at charged S2000's :lipsrsealed:)

21 with a 16v pay about £500 on insurance but my first quote was aroun £2500

I get my 2nd years no claim in september... 2 more £303 payments lol

Licence is clean

im 22 and 5 months

My insurance went up from £134 per month (with breakdown) with my 16v

my vr6 is an ...cough.. auto aswell if that makes it worse?

That's bloddy cheap. I know that the insurance gets A LOT cheaper, when you turn 21, but that is still really good for a VR6 and fully comp.
