As a guide parkers price guide says:
Original Price £23,035
Franchised Dealer £22,090
Independent Dealer £21,690
Private Good  £20,695
Private Poor  £18,110
Part Exchange £19,500

Were as Glass's guide says
Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £21500
Average condition: £19100
Below average condition: £16800

So your guess is as good as any.

But then again Glass's value my GTI at part ex value nearly £3K more than i paid for it

The user evo1986 works for a vw dealer, might be worth a pm? Think he's
even got the same car as you!

Probably be able to give you a more accurate price of what they're actually
achieving
Skoda Octavia VRS DSG (soon!)
Skoda Rapid Spaceback

An a Signum for towing me old caravan!

Many thanks for advice
I have been offered £20k px so was thinking more like £21k
(reasons for parting with it - son off to uni thought of getting me a cheaper
polo TDI and cheap car for son.
Nothing wrong with GTD in fact it will be hard to part with but the economic truths etc. etc.
yes I might PM evo

once again thanks for sensible replies.
