golf gt tdi 130

hi, im looking at buying a golf reg number N10 MOX

when i put this in on an insurance quote it comes back as a golf SDI E??

The car has full leather heated interior, electric windows and mirrors and cruise control..

im guessing this is an error as the car is listed as a Golf GT TDI 130?

Need an answer asap as looking at purchasing tomorrow..if it's the right model

DVLA have it as a 130 PD. I doubt the the SDI E would have that spec.

Mine comes up as a 150bhp with some insurance companies.

just tried it on go compare and compare the market, says it a SDI E model..

what site did you use to check the reg mate?

Anything i can check on the car to see if it's a SDI or GT TDI

It might have a badge on the back. The engine will have a cover like this -
 


The PDs are all 6 speed and the engine code will be ASZ for the 130. You can find the engine code on the cam cover/ service book or in the boot.

Got the exact emissions as mine where as the SDi has a slightly lower level.

P.S - it has no tax

yeah gonna have to tax it if i buy, so any ideas why it comes back as an SDI??

On the insurance side im guessing ill have to tell them its a GT TDI and they have got it wrong?

Apparently in the logbook it goes state itsa  GT TDI or anything just golf diesel

check askmid motor insurance database as it will come up if insured the model, and bhp.

It'll be plainly obvious if its a SDI - Just check the log book and sticker in the boot (i believe?) and see what the engine code is
