Cruise control wouldn't work last night...
« on: 29 May 2010, 15:22 »
...not been to try it today but 99 AGU with it fitted, always worked fine.. just cruising home last night in a CBA mood so pressed the cruise control button and nothing...

Yesterday I had my clutch pedal removed and refitted with some shims which were missed when I had a replacement pedal fitted.

Is it likely to be linked?

Any other reason cruise control wouldn't activate? Something to note is I've *never* had any lights on dash to say it's turned on when it's, er, on? :D

clutch/brake pedal switch?

if the clutch/brake is depressed the CC cuts out so something may have got knocked during the work

Would this be something which could be sorted without removing the pedal once again? I'm sick of having to mess around with this car just lately, puts me off enjoying the thing lol something always needs sorting.

Thanks for the reply mate :)
