Go to any Vehical wrapping companys or signage companys, and they will have some Black gloss wrap kicking around. All you need is 6" peice (oh er!) and it takes 10 minutes to sit and apply. Peice of Cake

The chrome part of the badge comes off both front and rear so you can apply it very neatly without fighting with it on the car

I have managed to source one from Fleabay of all places,solid black and from an VW online shop in Germany....

Having looked at the standard badge on my car is it a case of taking off the grill to remove the badge or can just the chrome part of the badge be removed ?
