Later models did unlike the earlier ones. Look for the mp3 logo at the front of the unit.

As Bacillus said the later model ones will (I cant tell you what year they came in as I dont know).
Easiest way to tell the old from the new is the silver buttons along with the "MP3" logo

It came in late 2007 but the silver buttons do not mean it's MP3 as this came in mid 2006.

£115 fromt eBay. There are others that are £5 cheaper so its there or there abouts.
Its a straight swap so easily done yourself with an online "How To".

Cheers Alan, Cheeper than i thought.
Now just the task of justifying it to the ball & chain cos she keeps winging "whats wrong with the one the car already has?" shes already put the skids on a visit to r-tech

The RCD300 is a pretty dull and boring HU to be honest. MP3 support is a must, I dont know how I lived without it.
