Dealer needs 2 days to replace aircon fan control module ?????

Well the small fan got replaced, but I was still getting air con problems. It would blow hot one day then cold the next, also the pressure thing was worrying me. Anyway I dropped it off this morning to get looked at, and I picked it up at 5pm. The guy said that sods law the air con was working fine and the pressure was in the normal range whilst they had it. However after speaking to the senior tech he said that a common fault is that the pressure sensor can become faulty, so one is on order and I’m just waiting for the part to be delivered.

Hi i am having the same problem.  Could you inform me how much the pressure sensor is going to cost, thank's.

Well when I took the car to get the AC looked at, sods law meant it all worked fine when it was in the workshop. So the dealer has said that they would replace the pressure sensor as a precaution because it is a common fault apparently.

Anyway it is all getting done under my extended warranty so I’m sorry I don’t know how much it is going to cost.

Ok Thanks’, how does the warranty work i have a 55 plate GTI 31k VWFSH am i covered for them to fix it?

Well from what I understand you get a 3 year warranty as standard from the date of manufacture, or delivery of the car. But as I brought mine from a VW main dealer it came with an extended 1 year warranty.
