New member looking for a golf
« on: 28 May 2010, 01:37 »
Hey guys I'm new to this forum, I'm living in ringwood SW England. I couldn't think of a better place to come when looking to buy a golf.
I currently drive a ford Ka 1.3 and need more power and a better looking car.

So I'm looking for a golf probs a mk3 mk4 if I can afford it I will be spending max of 1k ( selling old car for new one) will probs be between 1996 / 2002 I rekon.

So what do I look for in a golf? Any good places to go? Any tips? Anything you can think of will help

thanks guys

welcome to the forum, 1stly its very undoubtful you will find a mk 4 golf for under 1k but you shouldnt have a problem finding a decent unmolested mk 3 for under a 1k, check the car's for sale section as there's been a fair few advertised in there lately
