also are the VWR much better than the eibach?
No idea, to be honest.
But the VWR springs are superb in both rate and lowering...I've not tried the Eibachs to compare.
I doubt either would be significantly better/worse then the other.
I fitted Bilstein B8s / H&R springs on my S3 and they were perfect...so I'd expect a similar combination to be as good on a Golf.
