As for etching i dont think that glass theft is really an issue any longer.

lol its so you can see if the reg is right, its loads more hassle changing all the  glass with the reg etched on than just the number plate

you could get a windscreen from a scrappy for 20 quid why spend an extra thirty for no reason? fair enough if they were bonded in but they arent.
