Looks good man! How much is it if you don't mind me asking? I should set up one at some point really :)

Thanks mate, I've just changed the wording on the home page...its free for the first month, then £2.99 per month plus VAT for a basic 3 page site, you can upgrade and get paypal set up on it get a better domain name etc...but the price goes up and up...I've been meaning to do it for for the past 2 or so years so thought I'd just get one done.
The only problem with the basic site, search engines don't really find them, so you need to put your web address about abit...

Now I've got my little website up and going I thought it would be a good idea to get some vinyl for the car, seen as I had the day off today thought it was the perfect time to do so:

Also removed the Dubs n Suds vinyl as it could get confusing

On the Front:

In a couple of weeks me and a few friends and family are going Go-karting for my stag night, so I modified my helmet for the occasion

Nothing to report on the GTI as I'm still skint...paid my tax return today  so that's one less financial burden to worry about

Anyway did a 'free' job on the missus Imprezza today...she doesn't use it much and the amp just drains the battery, I got fed up with having to keep removing the battery and charging it I decided to fit a cut-off switch between the battery and the amp.  :smug:

I found the best place it fit the switch was on the passenger side kick panel (pic01), I bought some battery lead terminal fittings but didn't realise that the bloody things were so hard to crimp  so i dusted of my brake line tool, and used that to crimp the fitting (pic02) and (pic03). All seemed to fitted ok so put it all back together and gave a little hoover (pic04)

Battery is on charge as we speak so time will tell if my plan has worked

Am I correct in thinking the Amp should turn off when the head unit is turned off??

So have I waisted my time fitting a kill switch on the missus car?

If so what have I done wrong?

I will be re-routing the audio wiring on the Golf and upgrading the speaker wire so it will be a good idea to do it right this time...

comments and suggestions please...

Blue signal wire on the headunit should tell the amp to turn off when the HU is off.

What HU is it? Alpine?

The HU is a Kenwood...old one tho, if that makes any difference, my missus HU is a JVC.
