Ive driven a couple of ac cobra replicas and theyve got similar steering wheels, even tho they are quite big steering wheels the are a dream to hold!

mmm got me thinking perhaps use the gear know out of a cobra replica too, and just flick off the cobra badge and replace it with vw. :rolleyes:

Update from yesturday, did some more sanding down on the front bumper, decided to do something with the indicators  :smug: :smug:

Had a great day @ Elemental today, weather was spot on to!

Collected my steering wheel (hope it fits), bought a collection of funny stickers, along with a bargin haynes manual and picnic basket  :grin:



Will prob get stickers on tomorrow after grand prix, hope to recieve the steering wheel boss by the end of the week.

im sure there is something else i should be doing.... oh yeah BUMPERS  :rolleyes:

Finally getting on with the bumpers, rubbed the rear down abit more with some 400w/d and resprayed, rubbed down the front with 800w/d and got some satin black sprayed on there too.

Put my new stickers on the rear windows, and some funky valve caps thanks to fast car magazine  :grin:

Ok this morning before breakfast, got the front bumper fitted along with the lower bumper vents and painted reflectors.

Looks ok but along way form being finished, as im starting to loose paitents with the bumpers im going to paint the rest of the car before finishing the bumpers off.

Still waiting for good old paostman pat to deliver boss too  :smiley:
