Hi,

 I've just been given a MK4 Y reg 2.0 8valve GTi for the weekend :grin:, as my picasso (peice oh sh1t) has packed up again! I cant get the stereo to turn on. Its the one with no tape or cd just an lcd satnav screen.  Does any one have any ideas as i dont fancy a long drive to sunny halifax tomorrow with no tunes! Any help would be most appriciated :evil:

If i remember right, (been a while since i've had my hands on one) to turn on/off you have to press the volume button, same as the gamma/beta setups.

Tried that! I've pressed pretty much every button, still no joy :cry: :cry:  Is there a fuse i need to check? I've looked at the fuse box but the diagram doesnt show one for the radio. Thanks again to every1 for any help given
