Looks normal to me. I've had a few cars with a twisted dipstick just like that.
What model is it from?

No thats a different stick to mine. Mine has a plastic tip with the graduations on it.

Mine is the same.
Reflex Silver MK6 GTI 3-door DSG, DCC, Sunroof, 18" Detroit, Xenons, LED tail lights, RCD 510, Dynaudio, Media-in, Bluetooth, Cruise Control, Winter Pack.

Added Milltek 3" Race exhaust and H&R suspension.

That's probably because yours is diesel.

Thought I'd share this for better or for worse.
Mileage 1140 miles.
Had an oil change with Motul VW Specific 5W30 504 00, new filter, plug + Boron Silk engine additive + Boron Silk fuel additive to full tank of BP Ultimate 97RON. Done at my VW dealership.
Running like a dream. So very smooth now & probably due to new oil in engine.
The other stuff will take 500 to 1000 miles to be felt I am told.
Ahhh! :smiley:

PS: Also collected my new Ed30 Manual shift. Looks ver' nice. :grin:

Get it fitted later in the week and post pictures.
Now, and you won't believe this, maybe I prefer the one already in the car due to the red bits on it! :shocked:
